Location: Tempe/Mesa, AZ (On-Site Required)
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Depending on Candidate)
Reports to: Owner, Brick Road Community Corporation

About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help grow the impact and reach of Brick Road Community Corporation and its brands: Brick Road Coffee, Empower Coffee Roasters, Prism Coffee Lab, and other ventures under our umbrella.

This is a junior-level position with big-picture opportunity. You’ll be the main point person for day-to-day marketing efforts across all channels — from content creation to email campaigns — with support from our external agency partner for brand voice, campaigns, and strategy.

What You’ll Do

Content & Community Management

 

  • Manage all social media platforms for our brands (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
  • Plan, create, and publish content (reels, graphics, stories, posts, etc.)
  • Engage with followers and customers to build community and brand trust

 

Email, SMS, & Loyalty Marketing

 

  • Build and manage email campaigns and newsletters
  • Oversee SMS campaigns and customer loyalty programs
  • Grow and segment subscriber lists

 

Website & E-Commerce Growth

 

  • Maintain Shopify stores for online sales
  • Support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
  • Track site metrics and suggest optimizations to improve traffic and sales

 

Design & Creative

 

  • Design branded materials using Canva (and/or Adobe if applicable)
  • Capture and edit photos and videos for social, web, and ads
  • Support visual storytelling across all channels

 

Advertising & Performance Tracking

  • Manage basic digital ad campaigns (Meta, Google, etc.)

  • Track performance on key growth KPIs:

    • Online sales by brand

    • Email subscription growth and CTR

    • Ad ROI

    • Social media follower and engagement growth

    • Google and Yelp reviews/engagement

You’re a Great Fit If You:

 

  • Have 1–2 years of marketing experience or relevant internships (bonus if it’s in food/beverage, e-commerce, or small business)
  • Know your way around Instagram, Canva, Mailchimp/Klaviyo, Shopify, and basic ad platforms
  • Are a confident writer and communicator who can match different brand voices
  • Enjoy taking photos, shooting videos, and telling stories through visuals
  • Are comfortable working independently and juggling multiple projects
  • Love organizing and tracking your work to see what’s performing
  • Believe in values like inclusivity, equity, and community care

 

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

 

  • Basic video editing
  • Experience with Google Ads or Meta Business Suite
  • Knowledge of SEO or blog writing
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere)
