Prism Connection

About Us

Prism Connection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers LGBTQ+ and underserved communities in Arizona through accessible mental health care and education. Founded by Tres Adames, an interfaith pastoral counselor and survivor of conversion therapy, Prism Connection exists to bridge the gap between affirming care and those who have often been excluded or harmed by mental health and religious systems.

We offer scholarships to help individuals access counseling with LGBTQ+ affirming providers of their choice, removing financial barriers that often keep people from getting the help they need. We also offer educational seminars on a wide range of mental health topics — including trauma recovery, spiritual integration, and emotional intelligence. These trainings are available to both individuals and organizations, and can also focus on personal and professional development for teams and leaders.

Prism Connection is committed to affirming the full humanity of every person, regardless of background, belief, or identity. Whether someone is exploring their faith, healing from spiritual harm, or seeking support in their mental health journey, we exist to ensure that care is inclusive, ethical, and rooted in dignity.
